As a Material Handler, you will have an important role on our team helping us provide sophisticated supply chain solutions to our customers. The hourly pay rate for this is $17.50 GXO, in good faith, believes this is the pay rate for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted rate and this rate is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. This rate may be modified in the future. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and other benefits to eligible employees.You can apply for this role by clicking on the Apply now button at the bottom of this posting (or through the Employee Job Hub if you are a current GXO employee).What you'll do on a typical day:Support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facilityUse hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipmentPerform duties that may include packing, scanning, kitting or counting productsVerify orders, label products and use a handheld scannerAdhere to the 7S programMaintain a clean environment at all timesWork in a safe manner that protects you and your team membersWhat you need to succeed at GXO:To be at least 18 years of ageThe ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculatorAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents1 year of experience in a warehouse environmentAvailability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when neededExperience using a handheld scannerPositive attitude and the ability to work in a team to achieve goals and objectivesThis job requires the ability to:Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 lbs.Stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods of timeBend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pullHandle or manage tools or equipmentTolerate hot or cold warehouse environmentsGXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
