Location: Irvine, CA
Salary: $55.00 USD Hourly - $65.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Telecom Detailed Engineer in Irvine, CA.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Responsible for Engineering and Design support of all equipment for multiple project types.
- Supporting the equipment engineering team with equipment order logistics.
- Creating Material Requests.
- Forecast future needs based on project start dates.
- Ensure proper tracking of all components.
- Monitor all equipment expenditures.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure vendor payment.
- Equipment Procurement & Optimization.
- Oversee equipment receipt and acceptance.
- Strong Project Management and Communication skills with the ability to work closely with Team members.
- Experience in equipment, construction, or A&E design.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineering construction principles.
- Familiarity with telecommunications facilities design and construction plans.
- Understanding of AC utility power, electrical switchgear, DC and AC equipment power distribution, cooling, generators, and aisle containment.
- Knowledge and experience in 5G deployment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or Finance.
- Master's degree (MS/MA/MBA) preferred but not required.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (or Microsoft Office) applications, including Google Sheets (or Excel) data analysis features.
