Location: San Clemente, CA (Hybrid: Orange County + Fontana)
Schedule: Full-time | 2 days in OC / 3 days in Fontana (mileage reimbursed)
Compensation: $76,500 salary (approx. $37.75/hr equivalent)

What You'll Do
Own and optimize global freight operations across ocean, air, and ground - ensuring products move efficiently, on time, and in compliance.
Coordinate international and domestic shipments (ocean, air, FTL/LTL, intermodal)
Act as the main point of contact for carriers, forwarders, brokers, and 3PLs
Track shipments end-to-end; resolve delays, exceptions, and service issues
Prepare and manage shipping documentation (BOLs, invoices, manifests, etc.)
Negotiate rates and support carrier/vendor performance management
Audit freight invoices and partner with finance on accuracy and payment
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and internal SOPs
Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, procurement, and customer service
Analyze KPIs (cost, transit time, service levels) and drive improvements
What You Bring
1-3 years of experience in global freight, logistics, or freight forwarding
Working knowledge of multi-modal transportation and international shipping
Familiarity with customs documentation and Incoterms®
Experience with TMS, freight audit tools, and Excel
Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
Detail-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have:
Experience managing global carriers, brokers, and 3PLs
Exposure to freight optimization, routing guides, or compliance programs
