A company is looking for a Senior Application Security Engineer.Key ResponsibilitiesEmbed security into the SDLC by partnering with Engineering to implement secure design patterns and conduct threat modelingLead application security assessments including SAST, DAST, SCA, and manual code review across various surfacesOwn and mature the vulnerability management program and champion software supply chain security initiativesRequired Qualifications5-7 years of experience in security engineering or application security, preferably in a fintech or high-growth startupHands-on experience with SAST/DAST tools and familiarity with security frameworks such as SOC 2 and PCI-DSSExperience securing cloud-native environments and knowledge of API security standardsProficiency in scripting with Python and/or Bash for automationFamiliarity with AI/LLM security risks and relevant emerging standards
