Human Resources Manager

Our client in Southern California is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support a multi-location workforce in a fast-paced environment.

Key Duties

• Ensure compliance with California labor laws and federal regulations
• Oversee HR audits, personnel files, and required training/certifications
• Manage workers' compensation claims and safety programs
• Handle employee relations, including investigations, write-ups, and terminations
• Support managers with performance management and employee issues
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and final pay coordination
• Maintain HR records, PTO tracking, and operational compliance
• Partner with payroll on garnishments, claims, and reporting requirements
• Administer benefits, including enrollments, changes, and annual renewals
• Act as primary HR contact for leadership and operational teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of HR management experience
• Experience in multi-location or high-volume environments preferred
• Strong knowledge of California labor laws and compliance
• Experience with employee relations and workers' compensation
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams a plus)
