Operations & Purchasing Coordinator

Plantscapers, Inc. – Irvine, CA

We're looking for someone who thrives behind the scenes—managing purchasing, coordinating jobs, and keeping our systems clean and accurate so the business runs smoothly.

You'll sit at the center of operations, working across sales, production, and finance to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Owning all company purchasing (plants, materials, supplies, uniforms, seasonal items)
  • Managing vendor relationships and tracking orders from start to finish
  • Scheduling installations and coordinating crews, vehicles, and materials
  • Maintaining CRM and job tracking systems with accurate data
  • Supporting sales with reporting, sourcing, and commission tracking
  • Running job costing and operational reports
  • Catching issues early and helping resolve them before they become problems

Requirements

  • 2+ years in operations, purchasing, scheduling, or coordination
  • Strong Excel skills (used daily)
  • Experience with CRM systems (Jobber is a plus)
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks Online
  • Experience in service-based or green industry is a plus

Working conditions/physical requirements: Office and warehouse environment; stay on tasks from start to finish with minimal supervision or distraction; Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time, work on screens, type, answer phones, bend, reach, stretch, and possibly lift up to 25 lbs.
