**Dishwasher - Healthcare Food Services**+ **Pay Range:** $22-$24 per hour+ **Location:** Irvine, CA+ **Assignment Length:** May 4, 2026 - August 8, 2026+ **Department:** Inpatient Dietary Services+ **Shift:** 3rd Shift (Overnight) - Must be flexible to work weekends and all shifts**Position Overview**We are seeking a reliable Dishwasher to support a busy healthcare dietary department. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation within the kitchen and dish room while assisting with food service support tasks.The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with team members to ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service.**Key Responsibilities**+ Perform dishwashing and sanitation duties within the dish room.+ Assist with general kitchen clean-up and maintaining sanitary work areas.+ Support trayline operations and food service activities.+ Transport food items and supplies to designated service areas.+ Assist with trash removal and maintaining waste management standards.+ Follow established guidelines for chemical usage to prevent waste and maintain safety.+ Adhere to department standards for quality, sanitation, and service.+ Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.**Required Qualifications**+ Ability to speak, read, and follow instructions in English.+ Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.+ Ability to follow directions and perform a variety of tasks under supervision.**Preferred Qualifications**+ Previous food service or customer service experience.+ Basic knowledge of food production and food service operations.+ Ability to perform simple calculations using basic math or a calculator.+ Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.+ Knowledge of proper body mechanics, workplace safety practices, and infection control.**Skills**+ Dishwashing and sanitation+ General kitchen clean-up+ Trayline operations+ Food transportation+ Trash removal+ Team collaboration+ Customer service+ Food production knowledge+ Communication and organizational skills**Work Environment**This position supports a healthcare food services department and may involve standing for extended periods, lifting kitchen equipment or supplies, and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.**Pay Details:** $22.00 to $24.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
