Role: Electrical Engineer

Role Description:

Under limited supervision, responsibilities include leading Continuous Improvement (CIP) projects by collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers; performing CIP calculations and evaluating supplier quotations; developing and finalizing project budgets, including feasibility assessments, capital equipment needs, validation costs, DVT sample requirements and other testing factors; creating detailed project plans in Microsoft Project and preparing supporting documentation and slide decks in PowerPoint; demonstrating strong understanding of product electrical design, architecture and system functionalities; leading design changes, component substitutions or supplier transitions to deliver cost savings and improved performance; performing engineering testing, preparing test protocols, writing test reports and conducting design reviews; providing comprehensive oversight of project tasks, timelines, dependencies and execution strategies; identifying appropriate electrical test methods and aligning requirements with R&D partners; reviewing requirements, supporting process validation and finalizing relevant documentation such as validation reports; executing change requests and supplier change control processes; ensuring compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental and regulatory guidelines and ensuring resource readiness; supervising or providing technical direction to junior electrical engineers or technicians; and performing other duties as assigned.
