Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Construction (Multifamily / Residential)

Location: Southern California (Riverside / Orange County – project-based)

Compensation: $170,000 – $220,000 base + bonus + car allowance + full benefits

About the Opportunity

We are partnered with a growing real estate development and construction firm with an active pipeline of multifamily and residential projects across Southern California.

This organization is seeking a Senior Project Manager to take full ownership of projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for someone who operates independently, understands how to drive projects forward, and can lead teams to deliver results without constant oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle project management (preconstruction through closeout)
• Oversee subcontractor buyout, scope alignment, and contract execution
• Drive cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Manage change orders, RFIs, RFPs, submittals, and procurement processes
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards
• Identify risks early and implement proactive mitigation strategies
• Lead and mentor project teams while holding accountability across stakeholders
• Maintain strong communication with ownership and key partners

Required Experience

• Experience managing multifamily, residential, or commercial construction projects
• Strong background in subcontractor buyout, scope leveling, and contract negotiation
• Hands-on experience with Procore and cost tracking systems
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects or large-scale developments
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate independently and drive project performance
