Senior Project Engineer – Aerospace Components

Fullerton, CA (On-site)

My client is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the development and execution of aerospace component programs. This role works cross-functionally with customers and internal teams to deliver high-quality, compliant products from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate new product opportunities and support program planning

• Collaborate with customers to meet design, performance, and documentation requirements

• Lead concurrent engineering efforts and conceptual design development

• Oversee detailed design, testing, and product qualification activities

• Manage program schedules, technical proposals, and deliverables

• Perform sustaining engineering and support continuous improvement initiatives

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (or higher)

• 5+ years in mechanical/electro-mechanical design

• Strong project management and multi-project experience

• Proficiency in SolidWorks

• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and stress analysis

• Aerospace experience preferred - open to other technical fields
