Description - What You'll Do
- Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory examinations-ranging from chemistry and hematology to immunology-following established protocols and best practices.
- Ensure the accuracy of test results, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and maintain high standards by performing regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
- Assist with specimen collection and preparation processes to guarantee the quality of samples for testing.
- Keep detailed documentation of all lab procedures, while mentoring new staff and preserving the laboratory's commitment to quality standards.
- Uphold a safe and tidy work environment while strictly adhering to regulatory guidelines and accreditation requirements.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or hold an equivalent allied health degree with an intent to prepare for ASCP/AMT certification.
- Achieve ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within your first year of employment.
- Maintain active certification for the duration of your career with us.
