What You Will Do
- Conduct both routine and specialized clinical lab tests across disciplines including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and others as outlined by established guidelines.
- Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
- Assist in specimen collections and prepare samples for subsequent testing.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all procedures, mentor junior staff or students, and uphold laboratory quality protocols.
- Ensure a safe and tidy workspace while adhering to relevant regulatory and accreditation standards.
- A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a relevant allied health field, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.
- ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within your first year of employment.
- Requirement to maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective teamwork with healthcare staff.
- Possess strong independent judgment and problem-solving capabilities in a dynamic or high-pressure environment.
