Clinical Lab - Blood Bank

Schedule
Shift: 4 x 10-hour variable days (start times may vary between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM Pacific)
Rotating weekends and holidays

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years clinical lab experience
- Recent travel blood bank experience required
- EPIC experience (Beaker) required
- Trauma Level I experience required
- Travel assignment experience required
- Prior experience in a large hospital (300+ beds)
- ASCP-BB certification required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume Type & Screen and crossmatch testing.
- Perform transfusion reaction workups.
- Manage specimen accessioning, labeling, storage, and transport.
- Ensure accurate processing of blood products and components.
- Utilize Epic (Beaker) and relevant blood bank software effectively.

Compliance / Notes
- Candidates must have a valid state license.
- Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for submission.
- References required from 2 supervisory individuals covering the last year within the last 3 years.
- Must commit to working 3 of the following holidays if required: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.
