Our Dishwashers are the backbone of our kitchen operation and support our cooks and service staff in performing cleanliness, maintenance and sanitation standards. They must work well within a team, thrive in a busy environment, while constantly striving to make every guest feel at home.

Responsibilities:

• Team Member responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Expertise in using and maintaining all dish station equipment
• Load, run and unload dish machine
• Keep the dish machine & sinks clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately
• Monitor dish machine & sink water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle
• Wash and store all kitchenware, baskets and crates. Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies. Properly label, replenish and store chemicals
• Use the proper chemicals for each job while maintain safety for yourself and those around you
• Keep dish room & storage clean and organized
• Bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster at designed times.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and embody an environment of teamwork
• Handle varying levels of business volume with composure & a positive attitude
• Perform all opening and closing duties assigned by managers
• Follow all safety and state guidelines for preventing transmission of Covid-19 and other illnesses

Work Context:

• Working with hot foods and beverages
• Walking and standing for long periods of time
• Tasks will be performed using and in the proximity of coolers, stoves, and other hot equipment
• The employee may frequently be required to stoop, kneel, and crouch for duration of shift (eight hours or longer)
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move and/or push up to 50 pounds without assistance
