Delta Rising Foundation accelerates science-based systemic solutions as we evolve the art of sustainable culture. We are growing our online presence for our plant nursery and foundation initiatives and are seeking a Social Media Strategist to help shape, manage, and grow our digital voice.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Volunteer Social Media Strategist to develop and execute a thoughtful social media strategy across our platforms. This role focuses on planning content, improving engagement, supporting promotions, and strengthening brand visibility while aligning with our mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a social media strategy aligned with organizational goals
• Create monthly content plans and posting schedules
• Coordinate with graphic designers and video editors to produce engaging content
• Manage posting across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, and others as needed)
• Engage with the community by responding to comments and messages
• Support campaigns, promotions, and announcements (e.g., product launches, coupons)
• Track performance and recommend improvements based on analytics

Requirements:

• Experience managing social media accounts or content strategies
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices
• Excellent written communication and storytelling skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with nonprofits, sustainability, or mission-driven brands
• Familiarity with scheduling tools and basic analytics
• Experience supporting e-commerce or product-based social accounts
