POSITION OVERVIEW
The Front Desk Associate serves as the first point of contact for members and guests and plays a key role in daily clubhouse operations, administrative support, and event coordination. This position requires organization, communication, multitasking skills, and a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provides membership applications, and obtains paperwork for membership cards
• Greet Association members and guests in a professional friendly manner.
• Verify membership status and issue guest passes
• Provide accurate information about amenities, programs, and events
• Handle questions, concerns, and conflicts with professionalism
• Operate multi-line phone system, paging system, and two-way radio
• Complete opening and closing procedures according to established protocols
• Maintain an organized and professional front desk environment
• Monitor clubhouse activity and communicate with staff and management as needed
• Scan, organize, and file documents
• Review, update, and maintain forms, records, and member information
• Assist with data entry and ensure accuracy of records
• Support administrative functions, event registration, ticket sales, and member communication
• Provide occasional on-site support for events as needed.
• Able to handle money, use a cash register for transactions, and balance a cash sheet
• Ability to perform duties independently and ensure the safety of members and guests
• Able to perform other duties as necessary
The preceding functions have been provided as examples of the types of work performed by employees assigned to this position. Management reserves the right to add, modify, change or rescind the work of different assignment positions.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Must be willing to work three (3) major holidays per year (typically not past 6 pm)
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 6 months experience in a general office environment
• Must be computer literate - Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Must be minimum of 18 years old
