Position: Chief of Staff
Location: Irvine CA, onsite
Position Description:
As Chief of Staff, you will serve as a strategic support partner to the CEO, helping manage priorities, track key tasking, streamline communications, and ensure coordination across the executive team in support of the organization's operations. You'll be instrumental in organizing meetings, preparing reports, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. A successful candidate will have a proactive mindset, high attention to detail and ownership, low-ego and a willingness to grow into a strategic leader.
This position is a launchpad for future leadership or strategic roles. The Chief of Staff will gain exposure to high-level decision-making and build relationships with senior leaders, setting the stage for advancement to more autonomous and strategic Chief of Staff levels. This role consists of four areas of support for the executive team: time management, organization, communication and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize the CEO's calendar, travel, and meeting logistics; meet regularly with the CEO to manage their calendars and update on activities/assignments
- Manage expense reports for CEO
- Prepare presentations, reports, and briefing documents for executive meetings, including board meetings.
- Maintain an executive calendar of all pertinent meetings and events for CEO and executive staff.
- Attend meetings and take notes, ensuring alignment and accountability; track action items and ensure timely follow-up
- Generate correspondence as needed.
- Coordinate appropriate preparation for conferences, podcasts, or other PR types of activities.
- Serve as a liaison between leadership and teams, helping to clarify priorities and ensure consistent messaging.
- Support internal communications and assist with drafting memos or updates
- Attend meetings and take notes, ensuring alignment and accountability
- Research market intelligence for strategic planning sessions.
- Help coordinate special projects. (i.e. All Hands Meetings)
Required Skills/Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in technical or operational management roles in aerospace, defense, automotive, or similar industries.
- Extraordinarily diligent with the ability to manage multiple threads of work simultaneously.
- Experience in a start-up-like environment; comfortable with ambiguity and ability to bring process and structure to high-level asks.
- Self-driven and proactive, with a strong ability to communicate broadly.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications: - Experience in defense hardware manufacturing industries.
- Previous experience as Chief of Staff supporting executives is preferred.
Education: - Bachelors degree in Business Management, Accounting or other business -related degrees.
- MBA or Project Management degrees preferred.
Travel: 10-20%

- Ability to work in a standard office environment, using computer and other office equipment.
- Capability to travel to field sites, including manufacturing facilities, test sites, or operational environments.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. occasionally for handling technical equipment or documentation.
Work Authorization Requirement: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship.
Salary: $134,000 - $154,000 annually
Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus. The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus.

Pay Range: $134,000 - $152,000 per year
