FOOD AND BEVERAGE ACCOUNTANT

Location; Anaheim, CA

JOB DESCRIPTION

This role is responsible for reviewing, recording, and documenting revenue and financial activity within the Food and BeverageDepartment. The position requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Record revenue to the general ledger according to sales categories, departments, and events.
• Reconcile daily settlements between POS reports and bank activity.
• Create, maintain, and record accounts receivable transactions.
• Maintain the accounts receivable aging report.
• Prepare and record journal entries.
• Provide support to Accounts Payable.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5 7 years of experience in Accounting or Finance; experience in the Food and Beverage Industry is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently under deadline pressure.
• Ability to analyze problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
