CTG is seeking to fill an EMR Educator position for our client.
Location: Orange, CA
Duration: 2 years
Duties:
- Deliver provider new hire EMR training classes multiple times per month
- Coordinate post-training follow-ups, including one-on-one support and training for tools such as Dragon, PowerChart Touch, and AI Scribe
- Provide backup support for provider onboarding sessions
- Design, develop, and maintain EMR training curriculum and materials in partnership with Clinical Informatics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system upgrades, implementations, and go-live events
- Develop and execute go-live training and support plans
- Track, analyze, and report training metrics, including user engagement, onboarding effectiveness, and system adoption
- Identify provider optimization opportunities using analytics and system data
- Plan and deliver special training sessions and division-specific educational programs
- Lead curriculum development initiatives and customize training for various clinical workflows
- Manage and maintain learning platforms such as eCoach and LMS tools
- Support ongoing end-user adoption, sustainment strategies, and performance improvement initiatives
- Manage EMR-related support tickets via ServiceNow and provide troubleshooting assistance
- Provide on-site support (1-2 days per week) and participate in system implementations
- Act as a liaison between end users, training teams, and technical/clinical stakeholders
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance training effectiveness and overall system utilization
Skills: - Strong expertise in EMR training development and delivery
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning development tools
- Solid understanding of clinical workflows, patient care processes, and healthcare operations
- Knowledge of change management principles and performance improvement methodologies
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret training and performance data
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and critical thinking capabilities
- Ability to foster teamwork and exceed customer expectations
- Preferred: Knowledge of adult learning theory, motivation, and instructional design best practices
Experience: - Required: Minimum 3 years of EMR training and development experience
- Preferred:
- 5+ years of experience in eLearning or web-based training design and development
- 5+ years of clinical informatics and/or healthcare training experience
Education: - Required: Bachelor's degree in a clinical field, education, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Preferred: Master's degree in Education, Training, Informatics, or related field
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
