Job Title: Title Administrator
Pay: $26.44 - $31.25 per hour
Hours: 7am-4pm, 7:30am-4:30pm, or 8am-5pm
Start Date: ASAP

In this role, you'll support the accurate and efficient management of vehicle titles, ensuring compliance with all state regulations while helping to streamline our documentation workflows. As a Title Administrator, you'll work closely with DMV agencies, internal departments, and external vendors to manage legal vehicle ownership documents, handle title transfers, and resolve related issues. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure smooth operations and timely processing of titles for various transactions, including purchases, transfers, repossessions, and paid-off accounts.

What You'll Do:

  • Prepare, process, and track vehicle titles, registration papers, and lien releases to ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Review and verify titles for correctness, including VINs, signatures, ownership details, and liens, ensuring full compliance with state regulations.
  • Act as a liaison between the DMV, vendors, brokers, and internal teams to resolve any outstanding title or registration issues promptly.
  • Maintain organized records by scanning, filing, and managing documentation related to inventory, repossessions, and sold vehicles.
  • Identify discrepancies in titles and registration documents, resolve errors, and respond to inquiries to maintain a seamless workflow.
  • Stay updated on current DMV processing requirements and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
What You'll Bring:
  • High attention to detail with the ability to thoroughly review legal documents.
  • Working knowledge of California DMV regulations and title processing requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of meeting tight deadlines.
  • Previous experience in clerical, administrative, or motor vehicle/title processing roles is preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong sense of accountability, follow-through, and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Commitment to completing title transfers accurately and on time.
