Material Handler

Candidates should have at least 2 years of prior forklift experience. You will have the opportunity to operate electric forklifts, including counterbalance and pallet jack, reach, with potential training on a cherry picker.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain merchandise from Inventory Control to complete orders, carefully verifying identifying information and quantities.
• Load and unload trucks and various other material transportation vehicles.
• Complete shipping documents.
• Perform lifting of items weighing less than 70 pounds.
• Maintain legible handwriting for documentation purposes.
• Assist in warehouse maintenance.
• Maintain yearly forklift certification.
• Notify supervisor or manager of any potential safety hazards.
• Perform other duties and assignments as directed by management.

Essential Skills:

• Packing
• Material handling
• Inventory management
• Forklift operation with at least 2 years of experience
• Pallet jack operation
• Ability to lift items less than 70 pounds
• Legible handwriting

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Yearly forklift certification

Work Environment:

This role is based in a distribution center with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The environment is focused on safety, efficiency, and teamwork, ensuring a professional atmosphere for all employees.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chino, CA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
