Receptionist - 6196 US:CA:Anaheim | Administrative | Part Time, Hourly, 18.50 - 20.50 USD per hourDescription Walnut Village Retirement Community is Hiring!ReceptionistPart Time: Saturday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Sunday - Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Thursday and Friday Off)Pay Range: $18.50 - $20.50 per hourSummary: Receives callers at community/office, determines nature of business, and directs callers to destination by performing the following duties.Detailed responsibilities:Receptionist - Provides quality Customer Service efficiently to residents, families, co-workers and vendors in a manner to ensure satisfactionDirects caller to destination and records name, time of call, nature of business, and person called uponTakes messages accurately including correct spelling of names and phone numberOperates multi-line telephone console to receive incoming messagesGreet incoming visitors, screen visitors in lobby if unfamiliarProficiency with multi-line telephones, telephone head set, calculator, fax machine, postal machine and copy machineMay cash checks; sell stamps, bill residents for meal charges by entering data on computer systemMay sell meal tickets to employees and issues visitors pass when requiredMay make guest room reservationsMonitor fire alarms, call 911 if applicable and direct emergency personnelKeep track of keys to residents, employees and vendorsPerforms variety of clerical duties, which may include various projects for the Executive Director, Marketing, Accounting and Activity DepartmentsPerforms all duties in a safe and efficient manner Reports any safety hazards and/or accidents to supervisorAttends all mandatory in-service meetings Complies with all department and facilities policies and proceduresEducation with Equivalent Qualifications:Essential: High School diploma or GEDExperience with Equivalent Qualifications:* 1 + years of previous Receptionist, office or related experienceCompensation Disclaimer: The actual compensation offered will depend on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, training, education, and licensure/certifications (as applicable).Front Porch is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
