Location: 27700 Medical Center Rd, Mission Viejo, CA 92691

Shift: Night, 5x8-Hour (Weekdays 04:00–12:30 | Weekends 06:00–14:30)

Start Date: 04/14/2026

Duration: 13 weeks

Weekly Pay Package

Weekly Tax Free Stipend to be paid $1,694.00

Weekly Straight Pay (Taxable) $736.00

Weekly Overtime Pay (Taxable) $276.00

Weekly Gross $2,706.00

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience (first-timers not accepted unless exceptionally strong)

• Strong Blood Bank experience required (trauma hospital with frequent massive transfusions)

• Experience in Hematology, Chemistry, and/or Blood Bank preferred

Certifications:

• Required: BLS, California CLS license

• Preferred: ASCP

• Pending licenses not accepted

• Radius restriction: Local candidates within 50 miles (local rate applies)

• RTO must be submitted at time of application

Scheduling & Coverage

• May float between Mission Viejo and Laguna Beach campuses

• Weekend coverage may exceed every other weekend to meet department needs

• Block scheduling considered at manager's discretion

• Scheduling requests due to outside employment not accommodated

• Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
