Visitation Specialist- working with families A career where you can make a difference. This position works with children who are survivors of childhood abuse. New Alternatives is a Trauma Informed Care facility who believes in putting an end to the generational cycle of abuse. Shifts Available: F/T Shift: Mon, Tues, Wed, (12-8) Sat & Sun (9-5) P/T Shift: Saturday & Sunday 8:30-5pm QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in related field 6 months experience working with children (volunteer work is acceptable) Must possess a valid California Driver's License, proof of automobile insurance and have access to reliable automobile Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide support to the child and family during court ordered visitation Assist in transportation of youth Establish and maintain appropriate boundaries with the child and family Accurate case documentation of services provided Computer literate; demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications Work as part of a team A career where you can make a difference.
