Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Takes orders for Cakes, Baked goods, and catering.
• Answers phone and answers questions regarding bakery/deli products.
• Cleans organizes, and stocks assigned area.
• Attentive interaction with guests coming in and as they leave, ensuring a positive guest experience.
• Ability to inform guest of all bakery products including ingredients upon request.
• Accurately write and follow detailed instructions on special orders to ensure product meets or exceeds the guest expectations.
• Demonstrate positive, enthusiastic, committed, and flexible attitude always, while promoting the importance of effective teamwork.
• Maintain positive working relationships through respectful, open, and effective two-way communication with all coworkers, supervisors, and all management.
• Supports FOH and BOH staff in other duties assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
• Excellent communication skills; verbally interacts with management, team members and guests.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure.
• Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively.
• Strong verbal communication skills required.
• California Food Handlers card is required for all food service employees who prepare, store, and serve food.
• A willingness to work morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
