Senior Dev Fab Technician

What You'll Do

• Work with fellow Technicians and Engineers to fabricate items using various techniques, such as welding, drilling, grinding, and sawing
• Perform quality checks on completed products
• Troubleshoot issues with the fabrication equipment
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting blue prints and drawing
• Welding (GMAW/FCAW/GTAW) of steel, stainless, aluminum, exotic alloys with 2-5 years experience
• Metal fabrication in an R&D environment with 2-5 years experience
• Sheet metal fabrication experience (using press brakes, finger brakes, slip rollers, bead rollers, and other forming equipment) with 2-5 years experience
• Basic use of conventional machining equipment (mill/lathe)
• Ability to work through R&D tasks with limited oversight (evaluate, design, order materials, execute)
• High level of mechanical aptitude (aerospace/automotive/motorsports background)
• Advanced mathematical and engineering skills
• Advanced knowledge of engineering design and manufacturing procedures
• Ability to multi-task
• U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data

Preferred Qualifications

• Water Jet/Laser cutting experience
• CAD (Solidworks) experience
• General knowledge with AC and DC electrical systems

US Hourly Range $37.01 - $49 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
