Your Core Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced radiographic and CT techniques to create high-quality diagnostic images for medical analysis
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and the healthcare team to promote accurate and effective diagnoses
- Position patients correctly and manage equipment for optimal imaging results
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
- Maintain thorough records, including imaging documentation and equipment upkeep
- Deliver compassionate care to patients throughout their imaging experiences
- Help cultivate a safe, efficient, and organized imaging environment
- Required: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Graduate of an accredited radiology program
- ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography) is mandatory
- Current BLS certification or ability to acquire it within 90 days of employment
- Expert knowledge of diagnostic imaging techniques and safety regulations
- Exceptional communication abilities with both patients and multidisciplinary coworkers
- Capability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and adaptability to changing circumstances
- A keen attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
- Comfort with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging technology
