Experienced Kitchen Manager Sought for Iconic North Orange County Diner

The Kitchen Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the kitchen's operations to ensure that menu production and execution meet the highest standards of quality. This position is responsible for training and coaching the management staff in food safety standards, food preparation and assembly, food cost management, and the productivity expectations in our kitchens.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee kitchen management and staff to ensure all kitchen policies and standards are upheld, creating consistent and outstanding food quality.
  • Maintain a food-safe and sanitary work environment that complies with all applicable operational standards and health department regulations.
  • Maintain full knowledge of all menu items and proper execution of recipes.
  • Work in tandem with the Kitchen Managers, General Managers, and Operations Team (through weekly visits) to achieve outstanding food quality, meet all financial and staffing-related goals, and ensure customers receive a high-quality experience.
  • Create and promote a positive work environment through actively listening to and supporting staff, communicating goals, continuous teaching, and cultivating positive staff morale.


  • Experience and Qualifications:
    • Two years of kitchen management experience.
    • Excellent industry references
    • Strong ability to manage a profitable P&L
