IT Support Specialist

Main purpose of the IT Support Specialist role:

This is a full-time role for a candidate who will provide full-time IT support to internal customers.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Operating system and application installation, troubleshooting, and support
  • Configuring, installing, and maintaining phone devices (Cloud Mitel phone system)
  • Co-location and server room maintenance (cabling, racking servers, etc.)
  • Installation and upgrade of new and existing computer equipment
  • Helpdesk for internal customers. Including printer installs/troubleshooting, any software or hardware malfunctions, OS (Mac or windows) troubleshooting
  • Tend to the firewalls/ switches/ other networking equipment we use to ensure minimal downtime for all users
  • Update/create console logins for various internal systems
  • Configure any new or moving work stations
  • Backup Emails from google domain.

Qualifications:

  • Highly organized and flexible with great attention to detail
  • Run Network wires and able to install RJ45 connectors.
  • The ability to enthusiastically deliver a prompt, professional response and timely resolution to all requests for service
  • Self-starter with excellent verbal, written and analytical skills
  • Able to collaborate in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Ability to work independently on projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Good communication with natural aptitude for dealing with people

Working Conditions:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Technical Support or similar role
  • Experience in frontline user support
  • Knowledge of multiple operating systems (Windows and Mac)
  • Experience in configuring/maintenance of Networking devices and Hardware
  • Willing to work overtime and weekends when necessary
  • Flexible on scheduling early morning 6am or late morning 10am
  • Travel up to 50 to 80% within the LA area

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A+ Certification
  • 5+ years of experience in a Technical Support or similar role

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Revolve includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.

A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly/salary range is $22 to $25/hr.
