Scrum Master

Optomi, in partnership with a leading digital initiative company, is looking for a Scrum Master to join our team in Newport Beach, CA. The Scrum Master will support two Data & Analytics teams. This role is critical to maintaining delivery momentum across customer-facing digital initiatives. The Scrum Master will lead mature Agile teams, driving strong execution, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What type of experience does the right candidate have:

• 5–8+ years of Scrum Master experience
• Experience leading multiple Agile teams simultaneously
• Strong knowledge of Scrum - Scrum and Agile program experience with high volume
• General knowledge of Kanban is helpful. The actual teams they will be working with for this role will be Scrum teams.
• Scrum certification
• Proficient with Jira, Jira Align and Confluence
• Hands-on technical experience a plus
• Strong technical aptitude, technical background with experience in data, analytics, governance

What the responsibilities are of the right candidate:

• Serve as Scrum Master for two Agile teams
• Lead all Scrum ceremonies
• Ensure adherence to Agile principles
• Remove blockers and drive continuous team improvement
• Act as liaison between team members and stakeholders

Job Must Haves:

• 5–8+ years of Scrum Master experience
• Experience leading multiple Agile teams simultaneously
• Strong knowledge of Scrum and Kanban methodologies
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-expectation environments
• Ability to influence without authority
• Strong facilitation and communication skills
• Experience working cross-functionally (Dev, Product, QA, etc.)
• Scrum certification (any recognized certification required)
• Onsite 5 days Newport, CA

Job Nice to Haves:

• Data & Analytics team experience
• Experience in customer-facing digital environments
• Exposure to reporting, BI, or analytics workflows
• Technical or cloud/infrastructure background is a plus
