One of our Multi-billion-dollar reputable clients in Orange County is looking for a Staff Accountant to add to their team!

Expected base salary range $65,000 to $70,000 per year.

Looking for: Staff Accountant

Ideal Candidate:

• 3 + years Accounting/Finance Experience
• Strong/Clear Written/Verbal Communication Skills
• Extensive Experience in Financial Reporting and Analysis (High Volume)
• Proficient in Reconciliations
• Strong Excel Knowledge
• Experience with Journal Entries and Profit/Loss Statements
• Degree HIGHLY preferred

• Compile Monthly Financial Reports using Excel, Oracle, and financial software, with a focus on analyzing significant variances.
• Streamline Financial Reporting Processes to ensure accuracy and consistency across all reports and analyses.
• Cultivate Relationships with Department Heads and Senior Management to address financial matters collaboratively.
• Manage Month-End Closing Tasks including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Supervise Banking Transactions using EDS for efficiency and accuracy.
• Conduct Monthly Bank Reconciliations and investigate potential fraudulent activities.
• Review and Update Budgets Annually, with quarterly forecasting.
• Prepare Annual Financial Reports, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements.
• Support Auditors during Annual Audits by providing necessary documentation and facilitating procedures.
• Enhance Technical and Analytical Skills to provide valuable insights to business partners.
• Fulfill Other Duties as needed and assigned.
