Overnight Support Position

As an Overnight Grocery Team Member, you will play a vital role in supporting our team during the night shifts. Your responsibilities will include receiving and preparing products, maintaining the sales floor, displays, and back stock according to the highest standards of Whole Foods Market. Our team is dedicated to providing excellent service to both customers and fellow Team Members, ensuring a positive company image at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Verify that products meet Whole Foods Market quality standards.
2. Accurately manage and sort waste.
3. Maintain productivity and cleanliness standards on the sales floor.
4. Stock and clean shelves, bins, and food preparation areas.
5. Organize back stock for easy access.
6. Handle inventory invoices for products delivered outside standard receiving hours.
7. Properly check-in products and report any discrepancies to team leadership.
8. Receive products from the designated area to the sales floor or back stock.
9. Assist with sorting overnight deliveries for other teams.
10. Arrive punctually at your work station, well-groomed, and ready to work; attend all scheduled shifts, trainings, and meetings.
11. Deliver excellent customer service and address customer needs promptly; answer phone calls courteously.
12. Maximize sales potential by employing effective stocking and merchandising techniques.
13. Comply with all established procedures, including health and safety regulations.
14. Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment, adhering to cleanliness and safety standards.
15. Execute opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned and ensure accurate signage and pricing.
16. Report any safety hazards or violations immediately.
17. Complete any other duties as assigned by the store or regional leadership.

Experience: No prior retail experience required.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand/walk for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday.
• Handle various physical tasks including bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
• Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals and varying temperatures (freezing to 90 degrees Fahrenheit).
• Work in both wet and dry conditions.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
• Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives and electric pallet jacks.
• May require the use of ladders.
