Purpose and Scope:
The Driver and Warehouse Associate is responsible for the safe delivery and installation of industrial forklift batteries. This role involves operating various types of forklifts across multiple sites and performing installations using proper battery-handling equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE). The associate will also assist with general shop duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare batteries and chargers for delivery by checking voltage, water levels, connectors, and cable positioning.
• Load and unload materials safely from flatbeds and other company vehicles.
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes.
• Safely operate company vehicles and forklifts in compliance with safety standards.
• Obtain required delivery documentation and customer signatures.
• Maintain regular communication with the company regarding delivery schedules, updates, or issues via mobile devices.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks, such as monitoring and replenishing fluid levels.
• Foster positive customer relationships through professional and courteous service.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Support overall team goals by upholding company quality and safety standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in using communication devices in a mobile environment (e.g., cellphone, laptop).
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Valid, clean driver's license (MVR check required).
• Familiarity with local roads and delivery routes preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial driving and/or warehouse operations preferred.
