Junior Estimator

As a Junior Estimator at Uprite Construction, you will be an important part of the preconstruction team, helping us prepare accurate bids and budgets for projects that make a real difference for our clients. This is a great entry-level position for someone who loves construction, enjoys working with numbers, and wants to grow their career in estimating. You will work closely with senior estimators, project managers, and the operations team to learn the entire estimating process from start to finish.

What You'll Do:

• Assist in preparing detailed quantity takeoffs for all trades
• Help gather and review subcontractor and vendor pricing
• Organize and maintain bid documents, drawings, and specifications
• Support the creation of budgets, proposals, and bid packages
• Learn to analyze scopes of work and identify gaps or overlaps
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site walks with senior team members
• Track historical cost data and maintain estimating databases
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handoff after award

What You'll Bring:

• 1+ year of construction experience preferred (internship or co-op okay)
• Basic knowledge of construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with takeoff software is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
