The employee shall support Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center's strategic plan and participate in and advocate performance improvement/patient safety activities.The Cafeteria Food Service Worker/cashier performs a variety of tasks pertaining to cafeteria operations,Including: cash handling reconciliation and operating the cash register, operating the grill, operating food service equipment, serving customers, maintaining sanitation levels indoor and outdoor.Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job1. Be at work and be on time2. Follow company and department policies, procedures and directives3. Interact in a positive and constructive manner4. Prioritize and multitask5. Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills6. Ability to multi-task in a demanding environment7. Ability to use the cash register and reconcile the cash for daily deposits to Finance8. Demonstrates the ability to apply infection control policies/procedures for safe food handling9. Follow HACCP guidelines Title 22, and JCAHO regulations for food storage, safety and sanitation.10. Ability to be at work and be on time11. Ability to follow company policies, procedures and directives12. Ability to interact in a positive and constructive manner13. Ability to prioritize and multitask* Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities.
