As a Logistics Customer Service Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting customer accounts, ensuring smooth order processing, and coordinating timely shipments. You'll collaborate closely with various teams to deliver exceptional service and contribute to overall team success.
What You'll Do:
As a Logistics Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for customer accounts, providing timely order status updates and resolving issues promptly.
- Processing and confirming sales orders accurately and within deadlines.
- Coordinating shipping details, order modifications, and delivery timelines across multiple departments.
- Communicating with Quality and Operations teams regarding shipment release timing.
- Maintaining customer and order records in NetSuite, CRM, and internal systems efficiently.
- Preparing and distributing shipping details, pre-ship packets, and open order reports using Excel.
- Supporting customer meetings by providing updates on open orders, timelines, and inventory.
- Assisting with outbound shipments, including research & development (R&D) and lab samples via FedEx or DHL.
- Communicating confidently with customers through various platforms including phone, email, and video calls (Teams, Zoom, Google Meet).
What You'll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).
- A minimum of 2 years experience in an office or Logistics/3PL customer service environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage changing priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
