Forklift Operator / Inventory Clerk

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records by entering data into the computer system, performing regular inventory counts, and working closely with the manufacturing team to ensure accurate month-end reporting. This role is hands-on and requires someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Enter and update inventory data in the computer system with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Perform ongoing inventory counts throughout the day to ensure real-time accuracy.
• Operate stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently, spending 60-70% of the time on a forklift.
• Use sit-down forklifts and cherry pickers as needed.
• Work closely with the manufacturing team to verify inventory levels and support month-end inventory reporting.
• Identify discrepancies and communicate issues to supervisors or management.
• Assist with organizing, labeling, and maintaining inventory areas.
• Follow company procedures and safety guidelines at all times.

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience operating a stand-up forklift.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using inventory software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills when working with manufacturing and leadership teams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous inventory or warehouse experience is preferred.
• Experience with sit-down forklifts and cherry pickers is preferred.

Work Environment:

The position operates on the first shift from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with potential for overtime. The work environment is fast-paced and requires adherence to safety guidelines. Employees will spend a significant portion of their time operating forklifts and may be required to use inventory software regularly.

This is a Contract position based out of Anaheim, CA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
