The Scheduler is responsible for scheduling appointments and to ensure thorough and complete information is obtained. Facilitates the registration process, and optimizes efficiencies and workflows. Scheduler will routinely interact with various internal departments including registration, admitting, and financial coordinators. Exceptional communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills are required. Meets and exceeds customer expectations per established department specific protocols.

Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
* Required: Minimum two years of front office experience or one year of experience in a high volume call center in customer service related industry.* Preferred: One year of experience in radiology scheduling in an acute care hospital setting using a computerized scheduling system.
* Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.* Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's degree.
* Required: Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to pleasantly handle interruptions in work-tasks due to greeting people & answering a multiple phone lines. Excellent interpersonal skills, judgment with the ability to work harmoniously. Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position; Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail.* Preferred: Strong knowledge of scheduling software products. Bilingual English/Spanish.
* Required: None.* Preferred: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
