RECEPTIONIST

Job Overview

This position as a Receptionist is a non-exempt, full-time hourly position reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager.

Work Hours are In-Person Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm at our Irvine, CA office.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Listed responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
• Notify company personnel of visitor arrival.
• Inform visitors by answering or forwarding telephone, email, or in-person inquiries to the appropriate party.
• Direct visitors by maintaining employee and department directories.
• Maintain security by following authorized entry procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges.
• Operate telecommunication systems by following manufacturer's instructions for phone and console operation.
• Maintain security and telecommunications systems and keep a safe and clean reception area.
• Support continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills.
• Prior experience with receptionist duties and clerical skills.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to multitask.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Technologically proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer programs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience in the automotive industry is a plus
• High School diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

Physical Demands

• In the office environment you will primarily sit or stand, however there may be some light work of lifting, bending and manual dexterity.
