Your Day at Lowe's

As a Merchandising Associate, your primary responsibility is to ensure accurate signage, pricing, and displays so that products are easy to find. You'll create product displays that are safe, clean, visually appealing, and accessible to customers.

While you will primarily work on tasks that do not require customer interaction, you may have opportunities to engage with customers. Your responsibilities may include listening to their inquiries, providing product or warranty information, and assisting them in locating or handling merchandise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute merchandising resets and service projects according to Lowe's specifications and document completion of assigned tasks.
  • Verify buyback items, ensuring they are pulled, prepped, and ready for shipping.
  • Update and validate wayfinding and product location signage, maintaining digital records throughout the store.
  • Ensure product pricing is clearly visible and replace missing price labels.
  • Boost add-on sales by staging clearance products and ensuring displays are properly set up.
  • Repair or replace damaged or missing items, including signage and displays.
  • Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
  • Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store and corporate leaders.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in utilizing web-based computer programs for assigned tasks.
  • Capability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift a minimum of 25lbs unassisted.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience on Lowe's sales floor.
  • Experience in product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up displays.
  • Familiarity with operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
  • Knowledge of essential tools like hand tools, drills, and saws.

Travel Requirements

This role does not require regular travel; however, occasional travel may be necessary for meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores.

Working Conditions

Environmental conditions may vary by location. You may need to work indoors and outdoors, potentially facing extreme temperatures, wet or humid conditions, and various noises. Lifting methods vary based on role requirements, with guidelines restricting single lifts to 75 pounds.

Pay Range: $17.00 - $19.05 per hour. Starting pay may vary based on position, location, education, training, and experience.
