Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough cleaning of equipment and work areas according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Set up and operate labeling and packaging equipment, conducting necessary tests to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Conduct inspections and documentation of cap off-torque to maintain product integrity.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all tasks performed.
  • Navigate the electronic documentation system efficiently.
  • Handle inventory transactions of components and supplies to ensure accuracy.
  • Follow line clearance protocols to comply with cGMP and cGLP standards in all areas.
  • Move finished products to the quarantine storage area as needed.
  • Prepare and sterilize bottles, vials, and caps through autoclaving and drying processes.
  • Record production data meticulously, completing batch records and associated logs.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the work area by performing necessary housekeeping duties.
  • Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to safety guidelines and current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and SOPs.
  • Collect and forward correct samples to Quality Control (QC) as per guidelines.
  • Maintain logbooks and documentation accurately and punctually.
  • Assemble boxes for packaging and labeling tasks.
  • Plan ahead by reviewing schedules and staging required materials later in the shift.
  • Propose improvements to departmental SOPs for enhanced efficiency.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by the Lead or Supervisor.

Required Skills/Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong work history.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in an industrial manufacturing setting.
  • Familiarity with the Metric System.
  • Understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Competent in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Salary and Benefits:

  • The base salary range for this position in California is $19.65 - $25.51 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on factors like qualifications and experience.
