Tandem Care is hiring passionate, reliable caregivers for two types of roles. Whether you want variety and full days or longer one-on-one visits with more control, we have a position for you.

1. Targeted Care (Team-Based Model)

Pay: $20$22/hr + full benefits (medical, dental, vision, PTO, bonuses)

This role is for caregivers who want to stay active and see 46 clients a daylike working in assisted living, but you're on the go. You'll get guaranteed hours, a consistent paycheck, and full-time employment.

You're a great fit if you:

• Hate downtime and love to stay busyvisits last between 45 minutes and 2 hours, on average.
• Enjoy variety and are comfortable working with all types of clients (male, female, dementia, incontinence, pets, etc.)
• Have a reliable car, your name on your auto insurance, and are willing to transport clients
• Love driving and don't mind traffic, finding parking, or staying organized between stops
• Want to be part of a team and communicate often
• Can commit to the same availability MondayFriday

Not a good fit if:

• You want to choose your own clients or decline certain types of care
• You get easily frustrated by traffic, parking, or changes in your schedule
• You prefer a set routine every day or only want a few hours here and there
• You like working alone and don't want to be part of a collaborative team

2. Companion Care (Assignment-Based Model)

Pay: $18$20/hr | No benefits | Full-time or weekend-only

This role is for caregivers who want longer visits and consistent one-on-one relationships with clients. You choose the assignments that fit your availability and preferences.

You're a great fit if you:

• Like working longer visits (all visits are minimum 6 hours)
• Prefer working with one or two clients at a time
• Like having more control over your schedule and who you work with
• Enjoy slower-paced care and downtime between tasks
• Are looking for full-time hours or steady weekend work

Not a good fit if:

• You're only looking to pick up a shift here and there with no regular availability
• You're only interested in providing companionship and not hands-on personal care

Requirements (for Both Roles):

• Active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in California
• You must be registered with the state, have passed your Live Scan background check, and be listed as active
