Medical Device Assembler Wire Forming

Are you detail-oriented with hands-on experience in sewing and assembly? We are seeking a dedicated Medical Device Assembler specializing in wire forming to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career growth within a dynamic manufacturing environment focused on innovative medical devices.

Shift and Compensation:

  1. Shift: 5:00 AM 1:30 PM
  2. Pay Rate: $20.00 $24.00 per hour, commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, repair, inspect, and test medical device components and finished products following detailed written instructions.
  • Collaborate with team members to assemble entire products or specific components efficiently and accurately.
  • Rotate through various production tasks to support workflow flexibility and skill development.
  • Prepare finished products for shipment, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile work area to comply with industry regulations.
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot machinery and tools used in wire forming and assembly processes, following documented procedures.
  • Record and document production and quality data meticulously on approved forms.
  • Assist in training new or less experienced team members as needed.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions, applying knowledge of basic mathematics and measurement techniques.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related roles, preferably within a clean room or medical device environment.
  • Prior experience with sewing, wire forming, or working with small precision parts.
  • Familiarity with assembly tools, machinery, and equipment used in medical device manufacturing.
  • Experience working with live tissue or in a sterile, controlled environment is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform detailed work accurately in a fast-paced setting.
  • Knowledge of Quality System Regulation (QSR) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
