Become a vital part of Walmart as an Irrigation Maintenance Technician in Facility Services. In this dynamic role, you will play a key role in improving our outdoor environments by expertly maintaining and enhancing our irrigation systems. Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair irrigation system components such as wiring, controllers, valves, and various types of lines.

• Employ specialized equipment for tasks including pressure testing, trenching, and pipe installation.

• Manage inventory and supplies by ordering necessary parts and obtaining competitive quotes from contractors as needed.

• Proactively suggest upgrades and replacements to enhance system efficiency.

• Respond promptly to work order requests utilizing various communication methods.

• Effectively use technology to manage work orders and accurately maintain records and logs.

• Prioritize a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and reporting any violations immediately.

• Conduct seasonal tasks such as winterizing and starting up irrigation systems.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in landscaping or irrigation, with skills in plumbing and electrical work.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Possession of a valid state-issued driver's license and a clean driving record for at least 3 years.

• Flexibility to work alternative shifts, including nights and weekends.

Education

While formal education is not mandatory, relevant training or certifications in irrigation systems or landscaping are highly regarded.

Certifications

• Certifications in irrigation systems or equipment operation are advantageous.

• Safety certifications can strengthen your application.

Minimum Qualifications...
