The Project Scheduler is responsible for owning and managing execution schedules for assigned projects from release through shipment. This role serves as the project champion for schedule integrity, cross-functional coordination, and proactive risk identification. The Project Scheduler ensures that plans are realistic, aligned to operational constraints, and continuously updated as work progresses to support on-time, predictable delivery.
This position works closely with Engineering, Production, Materials, Logistics, and Project Management to ensure schedules reflect reality and risks are identified early-before impacting delivery or customer commitments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Own assigned projects end-to-end from release through shipment with full accountability for schedule accuracy
• Develop, maintain, and actively manage detailed project schedules and milestones
• Coordinate execution across Engineering, Production, Materials, and Logistics to align work plans
• Validate that schedules reflect material availability, capacity, and shop-floor realities
• Identify risks, constraints, and execution gaps early and escalate appropriately
• Recommend schedule adjustments and mitigation actions within defined guidelines
• Monitor project progress and proactively address potential delays
• Communicate schedule status, risks, and changes clearly to internal stakeholders
• Participate in project kick-off meetings to establish execution timelines and milestones
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, risk logs, and status updates
• Support delivery readiness by ensuring schedule alignment with shipping and logistics plans
• Participate in Production and planning meetings as required
• Maintain and improve scheduling and execution processes to increase reliability and efficiency
• Support cross-functional teams spanning multiple departments and, when applicable, external vendors
• Contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team environment built on trust, accountability, and ownership
• Manage projects ranging from low complexity to complex, custom, or growth-driven programs
• Maintain a strong sense of urgency and execution discipline
• Ensure all activities comply with established procedures, safety standards, and company policies
• Committed to the protection of the environment and the health and safety of employees, customers, and neighbors; responsible for supporting the Environmental Management System (EMS)
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent technical training or experience will be considered
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, project scheduling, production planning, or operations
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, and execution workflows
• Demonstrated experience building and managing schedules in a project-based or custom environment
• Experience working cross-functionally in an operational setting
