Position Purpose: Serve as an engaging host, an invaluable resource for members, and foster a fun ambiance for all members, guests, and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome members and guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Provide comprehensive information about gym services, programs, and membership options.
• Address member inquiries, concerns, and complaints swiftly and professionally.
• Manage member check-ins and guest entries using the gym's management system.
• Oversee check-in alerts and notifications effectively.
• Maintain the front desk area to ensure it is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Process payments for memberships, classes, and retail items accurately.
• Adhere to safety protocols to guarantee a secure environment for all gym members and staff.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels for beverages and other items while tracking sales performance.
• Conduct regular gym inspections to rack weights, collect trash, and check bathroom and locker room cleanliness.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service or a front desk role is preferred.
• A strong interest in the fitness industry is beneficial.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Proven ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in MS Office and familiar with gym management software.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Availability to work overnight hours – typically from 10 PM to 6 AM, with flexibility based on business needs.

Requirements:

• CPR certification is required within the first 30 days of employment.
• Participation in mandatory company trainings within the first 30 days of employment.
• Compliance with all current company policies and standard operating procedures, which may be updated over time.
• Ability to work in a gym setting; navigate club floors and rooms; and effectively communicate with employees, members, and the public.
• Physical ability to bend routinely and lift over 40 lbs.
• Capability to access and operate company computer systems to prepare documents, enter data, and read reports.

The position offers a competitive pay range of $17.50 - $19.50 USD.
