Position Overview

The Customer Care Representative I (RAR1) is responsible for providing excellent customer service throughout the customer experience, handling product information, patient inquiries, client supplies, billing, and supporting the commercial team with client needs. The role requires professionalism, energetic communication, and adherence to regulatory guidelines including HIPAA compliance.

Reporting Structure

Reports to: Regional Account Manager

Collaborates with all organizational departments and project groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow all Customer Care policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health, HIPAA, and safety policies.
  • Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Accurately maintain patient and customer data in systems.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service in Amsterdam.
  • Assist with billing and reimbursement inquiries.
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls within performance metrics.
  • Resolve deficiencies within 2 working days.
  • Process block requests daily and escalate delays.
  • Review and process Therapak (THP) orders timely.
  • Participate in onboarding programs with Oncology Sales Specialists.
  • Monitor sample tracking from pickup to report delivery.
  • Establish communication with OSSs and clients, ensuring timely updates.
  • Assist with new account and portal setup in Salesforce.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; 2+ years related experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web applications.
  • Understanding of laboratory techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
Preferred Skills
  • Bachelors Degree (preferred).
  • Knowledge of healthcare/lab customer care and billing principles.
