ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Daily review of the facility and waste streams to ensure that all waste disposal meets safety and environmental standards.

2. Sort trash and Hazardous waste to properly dispose of containers.

3. Oversee hazardous spills with appropriate equipment and dispose of waste in accordance with state, federal, and company policies.

4. Notify supervisors of managers of major hazardous or environmental issues as they present.

5. Observe and coach team members on the correct handling of hazardous waste.

6. Use and coach others on proper PPE when needed and as required.

7. Clean and stock supply cabinets.

8. Maintain exterior safety features such as eye-wash stations, sinks, and technician floors.

9. Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies and chemicals.

10. Perform other miscellaneous safety and maintenance duties, and partner with contracted services when necessary.

11. Remove debris from trenches, stalls, and other locations.

12. Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.

13. Washes floors in service bay with appropriate cleaning equipment and cleaning solutions.

14. Plans daily work schedule with supervisor on what needs to be completed for the day

15. Obeys all state and federal OSHA regulations, understands, and complies with Material Safety Data Sheets requirements.

16. Regularly and consistently adheres to all Company policies, procedures and ethical standards and established industry guidelines.

17. Loads and empties trash receptacles throughout dealership.
