Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a TIG Welder.
Position type: Full Time, Contract
Duration: 6 + months possible to extension
Location: Anaheim, CA, 92806 USA
Shift : 6am-3:30pm - **Week 1: 45hours (5x9hr days) - **Week 2: 35 hours (3x9hrs with 1x8 hrs every other Friday)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Layout work requirements and obtain needed equipment to perform routine repair and alteration operations, inspect weld for bead sized and compliance with other specifications
- Blend, grind, or polish weld ensuring specified minimum wall requirement is met
- Work with Engineering on new R&D projects and working with Redline Drawings.
- Prototype welding projects will be 50% of the job at times.
- Use calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges to measure repaired part and ensure dimensional requirements are met. Complete production paperwork
- Use and interpret complicated prints, drawings, and process sheets to perform a variety of layouts, as well as complete and sign work orders identifying the operations performed
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years of TIG welding experience with stainless steel and Steel welding.
- Welding Certificate Level 1 Welding (GTAW Stainless Steel), required.
