As a Sanitation Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining all plant surfaces and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition throughout your shift. You will follow GMP and SSOP protocols under the guidance of the Sanitation Manager and Quality Assurance team. Supporting food safety programs, including USDA requirements for allergens and traceability, is a critical part of the role. You will ensure proper chemical use, safety gear compliance, and timely reporting of any issues.

The position is located in a food manufacturing facility, which may expose you to various smells, wet floors, and the need to wear GMP PPE. Shifts are available in the morning (5am to 1:30pm), afternoon (1pm to 9:30pm), and overnight (8pm to 5am). You will work in conditions that include exposure to extreme temperatures (35F85F), continuous contact with sanitation water (up to 150F), and moderate noise levels. The environment requires standing, walking, sitting frequently, and handling and reaching with hands and arms continuously.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.
The pay range for this position is $20.25 - $21.50/hr.
